The origin of capelin is in Japan.  Because the female fish usually has lots of roes, this fish is also called "DuoChun" in China(Which means having a lot of roes in Chinese).
The capelin has high nutritional value, so does the roe, which contain many microelements, minerals and protein, providing good nutrition to people.
